SNIPS stands for “Spay / Neuter Is a Positive Solution” and for more than a decade this all-volunteer committee of the Watauga Humane Society has promoted spaying / neutering to reduce animal suffering in the High Country.

What SNIPS Does:
Volunteers work hard to raise funds to support low cost spay/neuter services for community members who are struggling financially. SNIPS also supports spay/neuter services for the WHS Community Cat Network.
Fundraising Efforts Include:
- Crafts for Critters - volunteers make and sell crafts in various venues
- Dining Days - local restaurants donate proceeds from food sales on specified days
- Sow & Grow - volunteers grow plants to sell through the High Country Food Hub
